About the CEO: |

| Taufiq Rahman is the CEO of Journey Plus which has
established August, 1994. He has a vast knowledge and
experience in the field of Tourism. He has studied
Hospitality Management in Nicosia, Cyprus and got
his Diploma ( 1993 ). There he got some other Certificates
from the American Hotel & Lodging Association as well.
After that he has returned to Bangladesh and started his career as a Trainer cum F& B Manager in a City Hotel (1993 - 1995) in Dhaka. After one year he has joined National Hotel & Tourism Training Institute (1995) run by the National Tourism Organization and sponsored by ILO & UNDP as a Guest Teacher. In the mean time, he has established his own company named ` Journey Plus' (August, 1994) and start working in the field of Tourism in Bangladesh. |

For his own initiative, he has attended some Tourism courses in abroad
which includes ` Tourism Marketing Planning Course in WES, Brugge, Belgium
(1999), Executive Development Institute for Tourism (EDIT) course (2003) from University of Hawaii in Hawaii, USA & MICE Development Program
in Kandy, Srilanka (2004) organized by Srilankan Convention Bureau. He
has also attended so many Travel & Tourism fair around the world as a
Bangladesh Delegate team which includes ITB-Berlin, WTM-London, JATA -
Tokyo, TTF-Calcutta, BTF - Brussels, SATTE-Delhi etc. |

| About the company: Activities Journey Plus has seriously involved for the promotion of Inbound, Outbound and Domestic Tourism in Bangladesh since its inception in the year of 1994. Our main activities are the Inbound & Domestic Tourism. Presently, we are closely working with the Travel Agents & Tour Operators from UK, USA, Japan, Europe, India, Nepal, Middle East etc. We are specially promoting one of our unique selling product called Sundarbans- which is the largest mangrove forest in the world ( 6017 sq. km.). For this program, we have our own vessel which can accommodate up to 30 pax at a time. We have a fleet of vehicles for our own as well. Presently, we have Japanese, Chinese, Korean, German & French Language guides and interpreter for our potential tourists. We have specialized particularly in Eco, Cultural and Heritage tourism in Bangladesh. Bangladesh has a strong background of these products which is unique in this part of the world. |

Objectives Our main objective is to promote and explore `Bangladesh' as a wonderful Eco and Sustainable Tourism destination to the rest of the world professionally. For this, we have A dedicated professional young team, who are able to handle any sorts of Tour - which will suit for our potential tourist anywhere in the world. |
