Comments : To my surprise and delight I found a country full of hope for the future and full of very lovely smiling friendly people. We heard about the studies the government is making to try to bring about a fair and equal society no least among women . it was a joy to find such a positive hope for the future. The food was really delicious. I enjoyed every minute of my stay in Bangladesh.

Is this your first visit to Bangladesh? : Yes

Your impression before visiting Bangladesh: I knew the country was low lying and at risk from climate change, that it had huge river systems and a large population and that people played cricket. I also know it was part of Pakistan after the partition in 1947.

Your Comments : I didn’t know people would be so friendly, welcoming and curious about us. Its been a wonderful introduction to the country. My favorite parts were when we could mix with the people. The river cruise in Dhaka. I loved jahangir’s informative comments and his willingness to answer to all our questions. Our driver did excellent job. Accommodations were very good.

Your Complaint/Suggestion (If any) : More time in villages to walk and take photos. May be drive more slowly through interesting areas. Good to eat in public. Not in closed up rooms.
